Oklahoma to get $22M in transit money

The U.S. Department of Transportation said Friday that the state transportation department will get $17 million to purchase 138 vans and 108 buses for use throughout the state. The Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority will get $5 million to purchase three buses, 35 vans, security equipment, radios and bus shelters and to provide transit service for seniors and people with
disabilities.
