SnowflakeOKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A winter storm is bringing more snow to Oklahoma with up to eight inches possible in some southern parts of the state. The National Weather Service says south-central Oklahoma near Ardmore and the Arbuckle Mountains can expect the most snowfall. Up to five inches is possible farther north, east and west. Another three inches could accumulate near a line from Hollis to Altus, Lawton, Pauls Valley, Ada and Atoka. Trace amounts are possible as far north as the southern Oklahoma City metro.

The storm comes with 944 homes and businesses still without power following a Jan. 28 winter storm. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management says the outages are all in southwestern Oklahoma and all are customers of rural electric cooperatives.
