Rep. Randy McDaniel, R-Edmond, won passage of his two bills, the CS for HB 2321 and HB 2322, both of which relate to the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System. A do pass recommendation was also given to the CS for HB 3111, by Rep. Jeff Hickman, R-Dacoma, which instead of eliminating payroll deductions for employee associations instead requires that the cost of administering the deductions be covered. Wednesday’s meeting was also the first for Rep. Curtis McDaniel, D-Smithville, who was sworn into office just a couple of hours before the committee’s meeting.
