Reynolds questions transfer of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell bill

Rep. Mike Reynolds questioned House Veterans and Military Affairs Committee Chairman Paul Wesselhoft Monday about the transfer of his bill to the House Rules Committee.

Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City, is the author of HB 2195, the goal of which he has said is to apply Don’t Ask Don’t Tell to Oklahoma troops. The bill was on the committee’s Monday agenda, but House Speaker Kris Steele, R-Shawnee, announced on the House floor that it had been re-assigned to the House Rules Committee.
