Changes to process server licensing approved by House panel

The House Appropriations and Budget Subcommittee on Judiciary approved a bill Monday providing changes to the licensing requirements and procedures for private process servers.

In a vote of 5 to 2, members approved the CS for HB 2289, by Rep. Randy Grau, R-Edmond. Grau said that the licensing requirements and procedures currently vary from county to county. HB 2289 provides uniform, statewide eligibility requirements and applications, he said. For the full story go to www.ecapitol.net
