ARGANBRIGHTSAYRE, Okla. (AP) - A former Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper who was fired after an investigation into allegations that he had sex in his patrol car with a teenager has now been charged in the case. Beckham County prosecutors on Wednesday filed charges against 44-year-old Ronnie Arganbright. Arganbright pleaded not guilty and was released on $100,000 bail. The OHP fired Arganbright in February after investigating allegations that he had sex in his patrol car while on duty. The letter of termination says Arganbright "initiated a physical relationship" with the girl when she was 15. The letter also says Arganbright admits having sex with the girl when she was 16 - which is the legal age of consent in Oklahoma. Defense attorney Josh Welch says Arganbright made poor decisions but committed no crime.
