Oklahoma National Guard soldiers welcomed home

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Members of the Oklahoma National Guard's 1-45th Agri-Business Development Team are home after deployment to Afghanistan. The 60 soldiers were welcomed home Sunday afternoon by family and friends at the Norman Armed Forces Reserve Center. They're to return to the center Monday for final debriefing. The unit included agricultural specialists and a security force. The soldiers spent 10 months in Afghanistan training Afghans on various agricultural techniques. The unit is being replaced in Afghanistan by the Oklahoma National Guard's 2-45th Agri-Business Development Team that was deployed in August.
